What a kidder.
Page 56, What a kidder.
Sterling is still sort of working on the humor thing. By the way, in case you forgot, Sterling's father is Booth Faraday. I guess that means Booth must be quite the kidder.

That thing you do
Sterling! A force of nature. I've temporarily given up having Sterling speak in a different font. All the fonts I liked were too hard to read. I'm thinking of putting a gray band inside his word balloons to illustrate the voice.
Also the wording is so awkward. That's what I get for rewriting sections of already written script at 1:00 am.
It's not wretched mind you, just a few words here and there need changing. (I know what I'm doing tonight.) Read this now- then come back later to see the new improved version and compare.... I dare you.
Corrections made. Woo

it's up!
I've been playing with the style again. I draw and nothing looks right. Then I wind up using the old style.
I used a different font for Sterling, to try and show he has a deep gravelly voice. I hope it worked. I'm not too happy with it. I'll keep looking for a font that is right.
Ignore the change in perspective in panel two. She doesn't suddenly change sizes, that's just me, messing up.

Halloween pencil sketch
I decided to scribble up a holiday Adorable Desolation in colored pencil. The Halloween strip I had planned would not work because it featured characters I have yet to introduce.
A friend also pointed out it also featured a blatant spoiler! That's thinking ahead.
I have removed this comic from the comic archive and I will be moving it to the extras section!

Do me a favor
Do me a favor. Oh, the excitement is hard to contain. Sterling is about to make his entrance.
I've been tweaking and playing with my drawings and I'm just never happy. I'll have to keep drawing.
By the way, yes that is wedding ring on Izzy's finger. The reason you may not have seen or noticed it before is because, this is the first time his left hand is clearly visible. I've been paying attention to that little detail. Don't get used to it.

An actual incident
So, now the big five-oh is passed by and is now in the past.
Introducing page 51.
Something (sort of, but not really) like this incident actually happened to me. I was watching a taped autopsy, and after the "Y" incision and just as the pathologist was cutting through the ribs to crack open the chest, I began to drool and crave ribs. I ate yummy yummy ribs that night- and enjoyed every drippy sauce covered bite.
By the way, if you were wondering about the guy in the autopsy I was watching? He was shot, not squished into a wall.
